Victoria is tough and strong and in quarterfinals

Monday 19th of May was held the second game in group C of the Tallink Cup 2014. Victoria versus Tallink Hotels (group C) at Kalev stadium (Tallinn) – kick off 13:00 local time.

Hotels team can show their record with honor – 2013 bronze medals and 2012 4th place in the tournament. The team has players from all Tallink Hotels in Tallinn and Riga. So far in the important games they haven't have luck and skills to clear themselves to the final – maybe this year, let's see. Victoria record is full of excellency from last years and they have already started with victory in group C, where they had strong win against Star. Today they have chance to finalize their play-off place. Hotels and Victoria have met once, when in the last years bronze game Hotels won in equal battle 1:0.

As the temperature today in Tallinn reached almost 30 degrees, then teams decided to play with 4 times 22,5 minutes. But it was still quite hard. All the game was good football and hard and equal battle from both sides. Lots of moments to score by both teams. The first goal was done by Hotels, but Victoria pressed through and scored some minutes later and in the end of first half they take the lead with another goal. Half time score 2:1 for Victoria. Second half was same same ruthless equal battle by both teams, where in the middle of second half Hotels equalized the score. But the Victoria's striker Toomas the lotsofgoals Kaldma had on the 76 minutes a chance from the mistake done by defense and scored and Victoria was in lead again. Last remaining 25 minutes didn't bring the equalizer to Hotels. Good and equal game, played in the tropical Estonian spring weather and this times the almighty favored Victoria.

Final score Victoria versus Tallink Hotels 3:2 (half time 2:1). Victoria is tough and strong and in quarterfinals and waiting their opponent to be cleared from the group A.
