Isabelle conducted the music for Symphony
Wednesday 14th of May was held the first game in group A of the Tallink Cup 2014. Silja Symphony versus Isabelle (group A) at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) – kick off 12:00 local time.
Symphony did make last year's tournament to quarterfinals, from where they didn't make it further. Isabelle (former Festival) hasn't so far made it to play-offs. The teams have played against each other 2012, where the score was tie 2:2 and 2013, when Symphony won 3:2. The history has been quite equal, so hard to predict anything, that what to expect from this year´s battle. Isabelle runs under Latvian flag and Symphony wears the Sweden colors.
As this year's tournament has an exceptional color in it due to the Brazilian advantage (Brazilian entertainment crew onboard most of our cruise vessels – also onboard Isabelle and Symph), then this was true example, where the skillful Brazilians showed to "slow motion northerners" how to score and score and score again. The game was quite silent for Symphony in the beginning, where they had couple of chances to score. Isabelle on the other hand was extremely aggressive throughout all game. The score was opened in the end of the first half by Isabelle and they did it twice. Half time and on the board 2:0 for Isabelle. In the second half the goals started to came like rain. Symphony did what they could and scored twice, but Isabelle answered by 4 additional goals. Isabelle player Jevgenijs Lahs got red card and according to the rules – he must sit on the bench next game against Galaxy. As you see the statistics below, from 8 goals, 8 was scored by Brazilians, where George Da Silva Ferreira made almost double hat trick with 5 goals – huuhaaa they surely can play.
Final score Isabelle versus Silja Symphony 6:2 (half time 2:0). It was surely game, where Isabelle conducted the music for Symphony with beautiful Brazilian toppings. Isabelle did with this good strong step towards playoffs.
