Hotels will play for the medals

Wednesday 11th of June was held the first quarterfinal of the Tallink Cup 2014. Tallink Hotels versus Isabelle at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) – kick off 12:00 local time.

Let the playoffs of the 2014 begin. Isabelle was the first to qualify from group A and Hotels were the second to qualify from group C. Isabelle had played the excellent group level and this is basically the first time for their team from Riga-Stockholm line in playoffs. Hotels record has been better in the history – two times in semifinals (2012 fourth place and 2013 bronze medals). Naturally the guys from Tallink Hotels chain want to play for the gold this year. Isabelle and Hotels haven't played before and this fact will make the game even more unpredictable and interesting.

Hotels arrived to Stockholm with almost full team and everybody ready to play. This means that team didn't have too much beer last night onboard. Isabelle had also almost full team, despite the fact that this time no Brazilians. Hotels started the game with good quality and discipline, which leaded to two goals already before the 10th minute and the third goal on the 20th minute. After the lead the game discipline went down a little and Isabelle had some good chances to score, but these remained only chances and in the end of first half Hotels scored their 4th goal. Half time score 4:0 for Hotels. Second half was much more equal. It seemed that Isabelle had strengthened their morale and Hotels due to their almost safe lead didn't focus to the quality of their game anymore. On the 64 minute Isabelle earned the penalty and the screen showed 4:1. But Isabelle was already too tired to chance anything and with good work of the team and mistakes in the opponent's defense line Hotels striker Roger Pärss scored twice and this was the hat trick of the game. Good game and good tournament attendance Isabelle and cheers for you, but see you again next year.

Final score Tallink Hotels versus Isabelle 6:1 (half time 4:0). Good game and earned clear victory - Hotels will play now for the medals. Jabadabaduuuuu! Congratulations dudes!
