Land vs Sea – Office vs Europa
Tuesday 13th of May was held the second game of the Tallink Cup 2014. Silja Europa versus Tallink Office (group D) at Kalev stadium (Tallinn) – kick off 10:00 local time.
Europa has already had one game on this year's tournament, where they lost hugely to Superstar. Ok, this was their fast sister from Tallinn-Helsinki line, but as game against Office is important for them, as if Europa will win, then they will keep their chance to go forward to play-off phase. And beside all, naturally Europa wants to show to their dear colleagues from dry land, that seamen can play football. For Tallink Office team it's their debut, as Office team hasn't in all last three years participated in the tournament. Office team is mainly gathered from Finland land organization employees, what is supported with some players from Estonia. So far office team is a wild joker in the tournament, as nobody knows anything about them – their strengths, skills etc.
Game itself was really equal battle and the tempo was quite fast and lots of running from one goal to the other side again. Both teams showed their willingness to fight and put the best out there. Therefore the all game was full of possibilities to score. The score was opened by Europa, where the captain of the team, very calmly raised the ball across the goal keeper. Half time score 1:0 for Europa. In the beginning of second half Europa managed to score another goal, but Office didn't slow down and putted out everything they had left. Lots of moments and finally Office had their goal. There were still time to play, where both teams had very many chances to score, but that was it. Again, both teams played beautiful game and showed very good teamwork.
Final score Tallink Office versus Silja Europa 1:2 (half time 0:1). Land versus Sea – this time the Poseidon and company favored seamen.

Richard Leemits (Europa) 17´ 1:0; 43´ 2:0

Both teams Europa and Office have so far basically kept their chance to go forward to play-offs games from the group level. Who and how, will show the next games in the group D.
