Tough game in Sweden, Symphony qualifies 5:4

Monday 26th of May was held the last game in group A of the Tallink Cup 2014. Silja Symphony versus Galaxy (group A) at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) – kick off 12:00 local time.

From group A the Isabelle team has already clarified its place in quarterfinals, as they have full points from the games against the opponents in the group. So it means that in this game the second team, who move forwards to the playoffs, will be clarified. Both Galaxy and Symphony has lost the game to Isabelle, but it should be mentioned, that the Galaxy´s game was much tighter. Both Galaxy and Symphony are sailing under the Swedish flag, so it should be easy to "communicate" with the opponent on the field. They have so far never played against each other during the Tallink Cup tournament history.

And what an emotional match it was – full of goals from both teams and luck was turning many times during the game. First half of the match was quite equal battle, where Galaxy dominated more. They opened the score already on the fifth minute and in the end of the first half had the second goal to Symphony´s net. It should be mentioned that the fans shouted many ugly words towards the referee, after that he wanted to end the game, but all agreed to play forward, so game continued. Half time score 2:0 for Galaxy. Second half started with Symphony´s pressing and they scored already in the first minutes and had the equalizer some minutes later. Then it was rough battle, when the tension and luck turned this and that way. Galaxy takes the lead and then Symph equalized and take the lead. Galaxy did their best and scored in the very end, but it was not enough. Huuhaaa, what the interesting game!

Final score Symphony versus Galaxy 5:4 (0:2). It was tough game in Sweden, where Symphony qualifies as the second from its group to quarterfinals.
