Isabelle through galaxy to playoffs
Tuesday 20th of May was held the second game in group A of the Tallink Cup 2014. Isabelle versus Galaxy (group A) at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) – kick off 12:00 local time.
Latvian Isabelle has already one strong win over Symphony on the table. This will give them surely confidence to face against quite powerful team from Stockholm-Turku line, who runs under Swedish flag. Galaxy is silver medalist 2012 and in quarterfinals 2013. Isabelle has a strong start and Galaxy has a solid history. These opponents haven't met each other in the football field. So in total it was only speculations, who would be the favorite of this game. Isabelle needs it to clarify their place in quarterfinals and Galaxy needs naturally a win before their second match in the group A, against Symphony.
Isabelle started the game with lots of power and their players from Brazil are excellent class. But the Galaxy defense was same height and their goal keeper cleared everything. Still the opening goal was done by Isabelle and it was good shot from 16 meters to the right up corner – unreachable for the goalkeeper. Galaxy fight with all they got and in the very end of first half they managed to have equalizer. Score in the half time 1:1. Second half the emotions were high and besides playing, both teams shouted all beautiful slogans to each other and to the referee, who then needed to show some yellows. Galaxy fight well, but Isabelle was this time better and scored their second in the middle of the second half and this remained the score until the final whistle.
Final score Isabelle versus Galaxy 2:1 (half time 1:1). Isabelle through fight of cosmos and with conducted music to the playoffs. Now they must wait for the quarterfinal opponent from the group C and it will be Star or Hotels.

Next and last game in group A will be held already on Monday 26th of May in Kaknäs Stockholm, where Galaxy will meet their countrymen under Swedish flag Silja Symphony. The game is important, as the winner will continue in the quarterfinals.
