Victor is Victoria

Victoria versus Silja Symphony, Monday 6th of June at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) – kick off 12:00 local time. This is the third and last game in group C and also the last game of the group level games of the Tallink Cup 2016.

Isabelle from group C has already guaranteed its place in playoffs. But furthering everything is open - who is the winner of this group and who continues as a second, will be clarified in this game. It’s not an easy task for Swedish Symphony, as Victoria is highly motivated team with excellent team spirit and therefore has been one of the most successful teams throughout the years of our tournament. But nevertheless the tunes and stakes are high in this game. Symphony and Victoria has played against each other every year in our tournament history and the result has been basically all years for Victoria, where only 2012 the game ended in tie.

Games started with ruthless fight and disputes with the referee. During the game quite many cards were given and quite many cards were not given. Victoria opened the score, but due to the big mouth of one of the players from their team, referee decided to punish him and the team with direct red card. Hard decision, but we must respect the referee and his vital institution. Victoria continued one player less. Symphony fighted back, but no score. Unfortunately with lack of luck to score to the opponent’s goals, Symphony scored own goal in mid of the first half. Half time score 2:0 for Victoria. Second half the battle continued and Symphony had a good fight, with some moments to have even the goal of honor, but their dear friends from Estonia and Tallinn-Stockholm route were good and better even playing with one less player. Soldiers of Symphony, keep your tunes and vibes high, thank you for this year and see you again next year.

Final score Victoria versus Symphony 4:0 (half time 2:0). Victoria as always in playoffs and we can just again admit Victor is Victoria of is it vice versa.
