Isabelle is the Winner of Tallink Cup 2016
After 19 games during May to August The Great Grand Finale for gold and fame of the Tallink Cup 2016 – Galaxy versus Isabelle – Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) 8th of September, kick-off 11:00. Sweden versus Latvia! One hard-hitting bulldozer against the other! Both have demonstrated their excellence and willpower. Huuuhaaa fight and battle of everything!
Both teams have during the Tournament already shown that they have all what is needed to be a winner – good team, gifted skills and limitless fighting soul. Galaxy won the group A, won Shuttle in quarterfinal and Hotels team in semi-final. Isabelle came from group C, won Office in quarterfinal and Queen in semi-final. Galaxy has already two silver medals and one of them was last year against Isabelle, when Latvians did to all.
As this year´s Grande Finale was held during the Tallink Staff Festival, then the amount of fans was big and loud – up to 700 people. And the game was real final with everything with stunning and tough fight from both sides, where the tension lasted until the last moments. Isabelle opened the score already in the first minutes and their second was done shortly after. Galaxy gathered its forces and managed to equalize the score before the half time. Score 2:2. Second half the ruthless game continued and the Isabelle again takes the lead and Galaxy again equalized the score. The additional time 10+10 minutes continued, where again Isabelle scored and takes the lead, but Galaxy didn’t give up and had many excellent chances to score, but no luck any more. Final whistle from referee, after 110 minutes - huuhaaa what a final!
The final score of the game 4:3 (2:2) and Isabelle are the celebrated winners of the Tallink Cup 2016 – YEPIYEEE ISABELLE – congratulations and you are now in the Hall of Fame, again! Galaxy got respectably the silver medals! Bronze medals went to Tallink Hotels team. Big and mega cheers to you all!
