Queen of Baltics conquered Europa
Baltic Queen versus Silja Europa, Monday 16th of May at Kalev stadium (Tallinn) – kick off 10:00 local time. This was the second game of group D of the Tallink Cup 2016.
This is the sort of principal opposition as both these beautiful and big ladies are sailing everyday side by side in the Tallinn-Helsinki route showing their best to all passengers. Furthering the Europa has the most colorful history, as under Finnish flag and crew they won the tournament 2011 and the “former crew” of Queen played under her colors couple of years ago. This year Europa has a sort of new coming back with basically newly formed team. Queen has already started the tournament with a win against Office team. If Queen will win this game, then they have guaranteed their place in playoffs.
The game started with strong pressure from Queen and really the quickest goal was made already on the first minute, where the goalkeeper of Europa did unfortunate mistake when dropping the ball. The pressure from Queen continued and goal after goal was kicked to Europa´s net. The defense line of Europa was like old broken bucket. In the middle of first half Europa did some changes in the field and after that managed to hold the lines and even do some counterattacks. Still by half time the score already 4:0 for Queen. It was visible, that Europa’s team was basically first time together and with no substitutions it was quite hard to manage against strong Queen. Therefore the game was basically all fun for Queen and they jollified al lot, where the rain of goals continued also on the second half. Still, also three cheers for Europa, as this was not their day and they fight until the end and respect as some of the team members had to come to the game from the very south of Estonia to play the game and support their colors.
Final score Baltic Queen versus Silja Europa 11:0 (half time 4:0). Queen of Baltics conquered Europa and guaranteed their place in the playoffs - long live the queen!

Next and last game in group D will be held on 23rd of May in Kalev stadium Tallinn, where Silja Europa will play against Office team, where it will be clarified who is the second to go forward to playoffs from this group. Next games of the Tournament are held already Tuesday 17th of May where in Stockholm will play Victoria vs Isabelle.
