Final 2016 will be Galaxy vs Isabelle
Thursday 21st of July was held the second semifinal of the Tallink Cup 2016. Isabelle versus Baltic Queen at Vesetas stadium (Riga) – kick off 13:00 local time.
These teams have not yet played against each other during the tournament history. Isabelle continued this year as a winner from group C and in the quarterfinal they won the Office team. Isabelle is also the winner of 2015 and as we can see they are doing also this year excellent performance. Baltic Queen, who have had so far very good season, continued as winner from group D and won Victoria in quarterfinal. It’s should be also mentioned, that during the tournament years, this is the first time when the game is held in Riga and Latvia. Maybe slight advantage for Isabelle as an home, as Queen needed to take long bus ride from Tallinn.
The first half of the game was very equal fight by both teams. It could be mentioned that Queen held and moved the ball more than their Latvian friends. Also quite many opportunities to score by both full of will opponents. The score was opened by Isabelle in the end of first half. Half time score 1:0 for Isabelle. Despite the fact that Isabelle scored their second in the very beginning of second half, the equal battle continued and Queen scored soon enough their first. Latvians didn’t hold back and replied with another goal. After that, is should state that Queens game sort of didn’t run anymore and beautiful reds from Isabelle dominated the end of the game scoring 3 more goals. All in all very good fight and interesting semifinal, where both teams showed their best, but bold and beautiful Isabelle stand in their homeport were too hard to break this time by her majesty the Queen of Baltics.
Final score Isabelle versus Baltic Queen 6:1 (half time 1:0). Excellent game by “red devils” from Latvia and the Final 2016 will be Galaxy versus Isabelle. Hmm, this is basically the rematch of 2015 final, where Isabelle will defend their title and their cosmic Swedish colleagues from Galaxy are ready to give everything they got to reach also to the Hall of Fame.

Now we have two final games to go. Bronze game will be held during the August in Tallinn between Tallink Hotels and Baltic Queen. The Final 2016 for the cold and glory Galaxy versus Isabelle will be held in Kaknäs/Stockholm 8th September. These are the finals, so come and see the games, raise the flags and support your colors!
