Sun and fun for Galaxy
Tuesday 10th of May was held also the first game in group A of the Tallink Cup 2016. Galaxy versus Romantika (group A) at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) – kick off 12:00 local time.
Galaxy, the Swedish galactic power in the sea has been never-ending second in last years, where they have met the silver medals in 2015 and 2012. Romantika team (former Queen) has reached bronze 2014. These teams have played against each other also last year group level game, where Romantika won. Surely Romantika wants to repeat their successful start also this year, but powerful cosmic penguins will not allow to make it easy and romantic for them.
Beautiful and sunny day in Stockholm, where the temperature was high as in mid July. Both team started well and opening goal was kicked to Romantika net after 16 minutes. Romantika gathered their forces and did what they did, but no goal. Even in the very last minutes before the half time there was a hit to the gross bar and post but no goal. Half time score on the board 2:0 for Galaxy. Equal, and it must be mentioned that very friendly fight, continued on the second half. Both teams had some good opportunities, where Galaxy again scored with success. Romantika started now to push as much they could and they managed it quite well and finally they scored at least their goal of honor for this game. Good and friendly match and Galaxy was this time better.
Final score Galaxy versus Romantika 3:1 (half time 2:0). Sun and fun and happy day for Galaxy – good job guys!
