Yes, big is better – Queen vs Star

Sunday 17th of May was held the second game in group C of the Tallink Cup 2015. Baltic Queen versus Star (group C) at Kalev stadium (Tallinn) – kick off 10:00 local time.

It’s should be mentioned, that due to the fortuna, all our three ships from Tallinn-Helsinki route are playing this year in the same group C. In some facts the Baltic Queen (former Silja Europa team) is big and bigger in many facts compare her opponents in group C. But the speedy space shuttles have proven many times in the history that bigger is not always better. In group C the stars has already played the game against the other (Star won) and this is a chance for Star to make sure their qualifying to playoffs.

The game started and first half lasted with very equal fight. The score was opened by Queen on the tenth minutes, but Star scored the equalizer 6 minutes later. By the half time whistle the score was in tie 1:1, which reflected perfectly the picture on the field. In the very beginning of the second half Queen scored beautiful goal from distance and after that the defense of speedy shuttle star collapsed. Yes, the second half belonged to the Queen and they scored 3 goals, where one of them was penalty.

Final score Baltic Queen versus Star 4:1 (half time 1:1). Yes, big is better – we salute for you beautiful Queen!

Next and last game in group C will be held on Tuesday 26th of May in Kalev stadium Tallinn, where Superstar will meet her big colleague Baltic Queen and has also chance to prove that bigger is not always better. Also from this game´s result is depending, who will fall and who will continue in the quarterfinals.
