Hotels started with success in the rain

Thursday 21st of May was held the second game in group D of the Tallink Cup 2015. Tallink Hotels versus Tallink Office (group D) at Kalev stadium (Tallinn) – kick off 11:00 local time.

Tallink Office team has already had their first game this year, what they won against Baltic Princess, and it seems that the wind is from their back. Tallink Hotels has been so far in the Tournament history quite successful: 2012 fourth place, 2013 bronze medals and 2014 they are the winner of the Tournament and are proudly standing now in the Hall of Fame. Office and Hotels hasn’t been played against each other so far, therefore it will be quite interesting match. If Office will win this game, then they are through to quarterfinals.

Game day – beautiful day with lots of rain! Game started with equally from both sides. Score was opened on the tenth minutes by Hotels, where the left wing kicked beautiful goal from about 17 meters. Office moved the ball quite beautifully and pressed and earned quite many corner kicks, but no result as the defense played well and the goal keeper did many beautiful saves. Halt time ended with Hotels leading 1:0. The second half begins with magic trick by Hotels. When the play ball whistle was given by the referee, Hotels right away kick from the center line strong long ball towards Office goal and it landed in the corner of the goal, where the Office goal keeper was helpless. What a goal and this kind of trick you may see maybe only couple of times during your life. Couple of minutes later Office played with had in their box and the penalty was given to Hotels, what they scored with no problems. Office gathered their forces and managed to move the ball quite well, but the defense of the opponent cleared everything. In the end Hotels had couple of more good chances, but the legs were already shaking and good work of the goal keeper, no result. Good play by Office team, but Hotels did their moments and deserved the victory.

Final score Hotels versus Office 3:0 (half time 1:0). Hotels started the 2015 tournament with success in the rain! Good play guys!
