Office team won the Bronze
Monday 10th of August was held the Bronze Game of the Tallink Cup 2015. Tallink Office team versus Victoria at Wismari stadium (Tallinn) – kick off 11:00.
Office, as land rats mainly from Finland, continued from group D as second and won Romantika in quarterfinal with impressive girl power, but lost the semifinal to Isabelle. Victoria came from group A and conquered Baltic Queen in the quarterfinal and lost to Galaxy in semifinal. It should be mentioned that through the tournament history Victoria has reached in all five years to top four, where they have played in the final 2011, 2014 and where 2012 they won of the tournament. The awards from last years performance shows, that Victoria don’t have the bronze, so this is their opportunity to get one for their collection. Victoria and Office haven’t played against each other so far.
Very hot game day and sun shining up in sky high. Game started with better play from Office team. On the sixth minutes they earned penalty, what they scored with no problem. After that Victoria started to press more and had couple of excellent run through, but no luck, where two times the crossbar was shaking. Before the halftime Office team played beautifully and scored their second. Half time whistle and score on board 2:0 for Office team. Second half the picture of the game didn’t changed much. Office played their good level passing game and Victoria answer with dangerous counterattacks. Victoria earned penalty, but Office team goal keeper saved the day. After that Victoria scored their goal from the game, but Office answered with their third one. Victoria did what possible and got their second goal and the tension raised sky high, but time and luck was not enough for Victoria and Office did what they had to do. Very interesting game and well played tournament by both teams!
Final score Office versus Victoria 3:2 (half time 1:0). Office team won the Bronze medals 2015. Congratulations!!! Big cheers also for Victoria for the 4th place! See you both again 2016.
