Not very Romantic Serenade in Stockholm

Monday 18th of May was held the first game in group B of the Tallink Cup 2015. Romantika versus Silja Serenade (group B) at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) – kick off 12:30 local time.

This is another principal “enmity”. Romantika doing its everyday job from Tallinn to Stockholm and Serenade from Helsinki to Stockholm under Finnish flag. Romantika (former Baltic Queen team) did reach the highest last year 2014 in their history participating in Tallink Cup – the bronze medal. And this mentioned bronze game was precisely against Serenade, where also Serenades 4th place was the highest position for them in the tournament´s history. Therefore we are pretty sure, that Serenade wants to show to their romantically bronze colleagues, that this year belongs to Serenade.

The game begins with good strike and pressure from Serenade, but no goal. After that Romantika takes the game in their hands and legs. Score was opened by Romantika already on the twelfth minutes and after that the goals started to come like rain. Before the half time whistle the players and fans saw also the own goal by Serenade and successful penalty from Romantika. Score by half time 5:0. On the second half Serenade tried to gather their forces and had even some quite good movements and opportunities, but otherwise the game belonged to Romantika, as they scored three additional goals. This time Serenade didn’t have a chance and the game really was Romantika game.

Final score Romantika versus Silja Serenade 8:0 (half time 5:0). And Romantika not with very romantically collected the valuable 3 points – congratulations!
