Revanche by Office
Wednesday 10th of June was held the first quarterfinal of the Tallink Cup 2015. Romantika versus Office at Kalev stadium (Tallinn) – kick off 11:00 local time.
From group level games, Office team came as a second from group D and Romantika as a first from group B. Romantika´s aggregate of the goals from group level games was the best this year. It should be mentioned, that these teams have met once and it was last year 2014, when Office team did their debut tournament and it was Romantika (former Baltic Queen, they won bronze 2014), who stopped their tournament in the very tight quarterfinal game, where the game was ended with penalties in the rain. Lots of emotions and naturally the skillful land rats wants to show to their dear colleagues from sea, that Office is here to play and win and have their payback and revanche.
Game started and was quite equal. Both played quite good and organized game. Score was opened on 23rd minutes by Office, but their smile didn’t last long as Romantika did the equalizer goal only three minutes later. Tight game and we didn’t need to wait long as Office scored quickly their second goal. Half time whistle and on the score board 2:1 for Office team. Second half started again with quite equally, both moved the ball. Romantika had quite many beautiful opportunities, but no luck. In the very last minute Office scored their third goal and then the final whistle sounded.
Final score Tallink Office versus Romantika 3:1 (half time 2:1). Good game and Office had their revanche and now continuing in semifinals - Congratulations! Cheers dear guys from Romantika, good games played and see you next year again.
