Star Wars – the battle between stars

Wednesday 13th of May was held the first game in group C of the Tallink Cup 2015. Star versus Superstar (group C) at Sportland arena (Tallinn) – kick off 11:00 local time.

Jahhaa, it’s a principal opposition. Both ships are running everyday side by side under Estonian flag in the Tallinn Helsinki route as speedy space shuttles. Superstar is a winner of 2013 and last year they reached to quarterfinals. Star´s success and shining in the sky hasn’t been so bright, but 2013 they played in the playoffs in quarterfinal. Star and Superstar have met only once so far in the football pitch, where 2013 the Superstar was the shiniest star in the Baltic Sea.

The game started quite equally. The score of the game was open already on the 9th minutes by Star, where from the beautiful long pass from the right to the second floor and kicked in by head. Superstar answered 2 minutes later with exactly same combination. Real Star Wars in the air. After that Star takes the control of the game and pressed hard to their opponents goals – result 4 goals in a roll. Score on the board in half time 5:1 for Star. As the weather was quite nasty – very strong wind and quite rainy, then it was a challenge for everybody on the field. Second half Superstar gathered their forces and managed to press and find quite beautiful combinations close to their opponent box, but no result. As the battle between stars was so powerful, then on the 55 minutes Star got the penalty and 8 minutes later the penalty was given also to Superstar. Both scored with no problem. In the end of the game Superstar fuel was ended and Star managed to score another 2 goals.

Final score Star versus Superstar 8:2 (half time 5:1). Star won this Star Wars in this battle and is a glitterier star at least this time in the football field – congrats guys!
