Isabelle is the Winner of Tallink Cup 2015

After long tournament of 19 games during May to August The Great Grand Finale for gold and glory of the Tallink Cup 2015 – Galaxy versus Isabelle – Kaknäs stadium/Stockholm 11th of August, kick-off 12:00. It is Sweden versus Latvia! One tough bulldozer against the other! Both have exposed and demonstrated their excellence and willpower. Huuuhaaa it will be a fight and battle of everything!

Both squads have during the competition already presented that they have all, what is needed to be a champion – respectable team, talented skills and unlimited fighting soul. Galaxy, the most beautiful ship, came from the group A, won Hotels in quarterfinal and Victoria in semi-final. Isabelle came from group C, won Star in quarterfinal and Office in semi-final. Galaxy has been already once played in the Final, when 2012 they got silver medals. Now they have a second chance to have it all. Isabelle´s history has been more modest, but this year they have shown a really great game with their team and are hungry for the gold and fame. Isabelle and Galaxy have played against the other once last year, when Isabelle won the game.

Besides all the ceremonial stuff, the final had everything: national anthems, beautiful cheerleaders, inspirational loud music and lots of fans/flags/supporters and good food, but the best were the game itself – real final with everything. It was stunning and tough and rough fight from both sides. Isabelle opened the score about in 20 minutes. Galaxy fight back with many good opportunities, but in half time the score 1:0 for Isabelle. Second half the game continued with no mercy from both. Galaxy managed to score the equalizer and the tension rise sky high. Lots of opportunities, but no more goals in normal time of the game. The additional time 10 + 10 minutes continued. Guys very already quite tired, but it didn’t matter to their fighting spirit. But after the final whistle from referee after 110 minutes of the game the score still in tie 1:1 and the game result was decided by penalties. Huuhaaa, what a final! In first 5 penalties, both teams missed 2 and the extra penalties were needed, where Galaxy missed and Isabelle did what they had to do. Again, huuhaa, what a final!

The final score of the game 1:1 (1:0) and in penalties 4:3 for Isabelle and they are the glorious winners of the Tallink Cup 2015 – DADADAA ISABELLE – congratulations and you are now in the Hall of Fame! Galaxy got respectably the silver medals (again) – well played tournament and cheers for the result! Bronze medals went to Office team against Victoria. Twenty-six cheers to you all!
