Strong power Galaxy and place in semifinals
Galaxy versus Shuttle - this is the fourth and last game of quarterfinals of Tallink Cup 2017 - Sunday 9th of July at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) kick off 12:00 local time.
Galaxy continued to quarterfinals from group C, where they won all the group level games. Shuttle (the joint team of Star and Megastar) made to playoffs from group B as a second. These teams have met on football field last year, what was also a quarterfinal, where in very tight game Galaxy won 3:2. Galaxy is strong and has been strong already many years, where they have reached and played in the Grande Finale in 2015 and 2016.
Game started from the beginning by strong pressure and good ball movement by Galaxy, who had a sort of “home field” advantage as Shuttle needed to travel from Tallinn. The opening goal by Galaxy was on 12th minutes. And after that it seemed that the shuttle stars left the door open and the Galaxy scored one goal after another. Shuttle managed to make some counterattacks, but with no actual threat. Half time Galaxy leading already 6:0. It’s seemed that the game was done. Second half in the beginning Shuttle gathered its forces for a moment and managed to score their goal of honor. But after that again pressured to stay in the defense and the door was still wide open. Among all the rain of goals - Galaxy striker Aganovic double hat trick and also a hat trick by their midfielder Dahl. All in all not very much to comment as Galaxy power was strong and overwhelming.

The semifinals and final four 2017, who will battle for the medals, are now clear: Serenade-Victoria (19th July in Helsinki) and Galaxy-Hotels (in Tallinn, date will be agreed). Hiphiphurraaa for Shuttle for this year still quite good performance and the place in quarterfinals and please hold your flags high and see you again next year!
