Galaxy strong and in Finale
Galaxy versus Tallink Hotels, Saturday 5th of August at Wismari stadium (Tallinn) – kick off 13:15 local time. This is the second semifinal of Tallink Cup 2017.
Both teams are shown all the years’ strong commitment and team spirit and are therefore highly decorated. It must be mentioned, that most years of the tournament history both teams have reached to final four. Hotels are the winner of 2014 and Galaxy has been three times in the Finale, but still missing the place in the Hall of Fame. For Hotels team Galaxy has so far been hard nut to crack, as they have met three times in the playoffs, where Galaxy has always been better. Again they are against each other and the place in the Finale is what they are both eager to reach.
Heavily rainy day in Tallinn and full ninety minutes to play. Galaxy started with good pressure and Hotels stayed in the defense. Score was opened by Galaxy by their striker Nilsson. And the pressure continues to Hotels goal. Very well organized and skillful play by Galaxy. In the mid of first half Galaxy midfielder Dahl scores the second. After that Hotels gathered it forces and had quite many opportunities to score, but no luck and good defense by Galaxy. Half time score 2:0 for Galaxy. The rain was really strong and heavy during the game, but all the players concentrated to the battle and their job in the field. Second half Galaxy continued with their excellent ball movement and creating lots of opportunities. Hotels mainly in defense and doing counterattacks and managed to have some possibilities, but no luck and no goal. Galaxy is strong this year and it seemed that there was no week or weaker element in their play. Goal after goal landed in the net of Hotels, where altogether two hat tricks by Galaxy players Aganovic and Dahl was completed. Hotels did fight until the end, but it was not the best what we have seen them to play.
Final score Galaxy versus Hotels 8:0 (half time 2:0). Heavy rain, lots of goals and Galaxy is strong and will play in the Grande Finale.

Now the last two games will follow, where the medals are cleared for Tallink Cup 2017. Tallink Hotels will play against Victoria in the bronze game. The bigbadabooom Grande Finale will be Galaxy versus Silja Serenade. And this shows that we will have a new winner and name in the Hall of Fame. Both strong this year and it will be great battle between the teams under Swedish and Finnish flags.
