Galaxy is strong again
Tuesday 9th of May was held the first game in group C of the Tallink Cup 2017. Galaxy versus Romantika (group C) at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) – kick off 12:00 local time.
Galaxy history in our tournament has been full of success, as they have reached silver medals already three times, but yeah missing the shiniest. They are ready again to compete and fight for the place in Hall of Fame. Romantika is again this year Latvian team and under these colors their history is not modest – silver medals 2013 and bronze 2012. These opponents have met each other two times in the past, where Romantika has beaten Galaxy both times.
The game started with the good movement and pressure by Galaxy. Lots of moments and shots towards the goal by Swedes with one hit to the gross-bar of the goal. Romantika, busy in defense, answered mainly with counterattacks, but no result. Half time score on board 0:0. Second half the Galaxy pressure continued and finally their strikers did it - Aganovic with good passing to Wallgren who managed to score. Swedes didn’t slow down and their striker Aganovic cutting the ball in mid-field tribling through skillfully and puts the ball in the corner of the goal. Romantika fight well, but it was allinall more Galaxy game and they surely deserved the win.
Final score Galaxy versus Romantika 2:0 (half time 0:0). Galaxy is strong again and one step closer to playoffs.

Next game in group C will be held on 15th of May in Kaknäs stadium Stockholm, where Galaxy will play against Silja Serenade. The third and last game in this group Romantika versus Serenade shall be 27th May in the same spot.
