Serenade romantically to quarterfinals
Silja Serenade versus Romantika at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) – 27th of May kick off 12:00 local time. This is third and last game in group C of the Tallink Cup 2017.
Both teams have had one game in group level already, where they both had to admit the Swedish power of Galaxy. Therefore Galaxy has already with full points fixed her position in the quarterfinals from group C. Romantika under Latvian colors and Serenade under Finnish flag have played against each other three times 2012 till 2014, where both have won once and one game ended in tie. This game is nothing less than the winner is continuing to playoffs.
The first half was respectable battle from both sides, where Serenade was slightly better than her Latvian opponent. Both teams, despite their romantic names, showed no mercy with strong power in every area of the pitch. Serenade opened the score on the 11th minutes by Wirman. Romantika had their chances, but the opponent’s goalkeeper did excellent game. Half time score 1:0 for Serenade. On second half it must be mentioned, that Serenade was better in all moments. And it gave them a goal one after another. Wirman, showed good movement in attack, did hat trick in this game where Koivisto added another goal. Romantika did what they can and had a blameless fight, but it was not enough today, as Serenade was really in good and strong mood and earned well her place in playoffs.

From group C the Galaxy is in playoffs as a winner of the group and Serenade as a second. Their opponents in quarterfinals are coming from group B, where Silja Europa is basically guaranteed her place to continue, but the final standing of that group will be clarified in the last game between Shuttle and Office teams on 7th of June in Tallinn.
