Romantika crushed Serenade in football
Monday 20th of May was held the second game of the Tallink Cup 2013, which was also second game in group A. Silja Serenade versus Romantika (group A) at Kaknäs stadium (Stockholm) – kick off 12:00 local time.
Serenade had already last week lost to Galaxy and therefore for them it is vital to beat their Latvian colleagues, as otherwise they would forget the playoff games. Romantika had strong team last year, where they were honored with bronze medals.
Despite the fact that Serenade has quite long list of players, they had in line in this match only ten – no substitutes and one player less on the field. Naturally this gives an advantage to Romantika. And Romantika takes from this game everything they could. The shower of goals was following: three goals against one on the first half and four against zero on the second half.
Final score Romantika versus Serenade 7:1 (half time 3:1).

Last game of this group shall be played Monday 3rd June in Kaknäs between Romantika and Galaxy, where shall be clarified the first and second place in group A. Basically both teams can already now take a little bit easier, as both are through to playoff games. Serenade with no luck this year is out of the tournament and needs to prepare for the next season.
