Silja Europa vs Hotels 3:2

The forth and last game of the quarter-finals of the tournament was played between Silja Europa and Tallink Hotels in Kalev stadium/Tallinn – 15th of June, kick off 10:30.

Hotels team, the only "land rats" of this tournament, has shown good skills and big score in their 1st stage game against Galaxy, where they won the game 6:1. Therefore Silja Europa must be aware that their playing scheme and skills are more bullet proof than their colleagues from same route Turku-Stockholm. As this is the first game for Europa in this tournament, we don't know much about their team, but this will make the game even more interesting and unpredictable also for the Hotels. Both teams have more or less the biggest possibility for the selection of the players, as both of their business units in our company have more than 500 employees.

The game itself was very tough and great battle, but in the same time good and enjoyable football from both sides. In the beginning of first half Hotels goalkeeper repulsed the ball being itself out from the box and got direct red card from it. Unfortunate situation for Hotels and therefore they had to manage the game with one less player on the pitch. Still it could be said, that Hotels didn't show any weakness because of that and played very well. Both teams had many chances to score and the half time ended with tie 1:1. Really there are very many really good and talented players in both teams. The very tough battle continued on the second half, where the both teams scored in the end of the game. Final score in the screen 3:2 (half time 1:1) and Silja Europa is through to semi-finals. Hotels – better luck next time and see you again in next year. Good game Silja Europa – congratulations!

Europa will meet Baltic Princess in the semi-finals 21st of June in Kalev stadium in Tallinn, kick off 10:15. This game will be already predictably high class, as both teams have so far shown good talent. Also the fact, that on the weight is nothing more than the place in final game, will add even more importance to that game!
