Romantika won the bronze medal of the Tallink Cup 2012

The battle for bronze medal of the Tallink Cup 2012 – Tallink Hotels versus Romantika - Kaknäs stadium/Stockholm 10th of July, kick off 12:00.

Both teams have played excellently with good power of will in this year's tournament. Tallink Hotels won the group D and lost in semi-final to Galaxy 1:3. Romantika won the group A and lost in semi-final to Victoria 0:1. The game place for the bronze match was decided by coin throw, and the result gives little advantage for Romantika, as Hotels teams needed to travel to Stockholm.

The game for the bronze medals was really equal battle from both sides, with lots of emotions and beautiful moments – real football. The first half of the game was tough combat for both teams, where Hotels team had couple of good moments to score, but after the half time whistle the score was zero-zero. On the second half the tough battle continued, where Hotels striker kicked at least two times to post (what to do no luck). Also Romantika had couple of chances, but no result. After 90 minutes the game still zero-zero. So according to the rules the teams shall change ends and play two halves of ten minutes, with Golden Goal rule in effect. Players were quite tired already, as most of them are not playing regularly football. Equal battle continued and in the very end of first additional time Romantika had corner and they scored beautiful winning golden goal.

After 99 minutes the final score of the game 1:0 for Romantika and with that winning the bronze medals of Tallink Cup 2012 – congratulations! And Tallink Hotels got the honorable 4th place!
