This is an accessibility statement for the payment.tallink.com from Tallink, first published on 28 June 2025.

We want every journey with us to be smooth – both on sea and online. That’s why we’re working to ensure our website is accessible to all our guests, in line with the European Accessibility Directive and the standard EN 301 549.

This accessibility statement is based on an accessibility audit from an external evaluator. Hotelservices.tallink.com is not yet fully accessible. Known limitations are listed under “Known accessibility gaps”.

Compatibility

Payment.tallink.com is designed and tested to be compatible at least with the following assistive technologies:

  • iOS with VoiceOver screen reader;
  • iOS with VoiceOver voice commands;
  • Android with TalkBack screen reader;
  • Android with Voice Access voice commands;
  • Both Android and iOS with a physical keyboard;
  • Operation system zoom and font size increase options (up to 200%).

Known Accessibility Gaps

This is the list of known issues and the EN 301 549 standard requirements that are not met. We’re prioritizing fixes based on user impact and technical feasibility, and we appreciate your patience as we make these improvements.

  • The page may have the wrong language specified in code. (9.3.1.1 Language of page)
  • The title of the page may not be translated according to the selected language. (9.2.4.2 Page titled)
  • Not all texts on the page respond to the browser’s font resize settings. When text size increases, some texts may get partially truncated. (11.7 User preferences)
  • The website may not be fully navigable on iOS with a keyboard. (9.2.1.1 Keyboard)
  • Once expanded, accordions can still be focused but cannot be closed. (9.2.1.1 Keyboard)
  • Headings and page regions are not always correctly marked up. (9.1.3.1 Info and relationships)
  • Payment options visually look like accordions which can be expanded and collapsed but are marked up as radio buttons. (9.4.1.2 Name, role, value)
  • The close button’s text alternative is «Left arrow go back» which can cause confusion for assistive technology users. (9.4.1.2 Name, role, value)
  • Decorative card icons have text alternatives that repeat visible text. (9.1.1.1 Non-text content)
  • Screen readers may read out input field’s descriptions multiple times. (9.1.3.2 Meaningful sequence)
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay buttons’ text alternatives may not be fully clear for assistive technology users. (9.1.1.1 Non-text content)
  • Apple Pay button may become visible when focused even when the accordion is closed. (9.2.4.3 Focus order)
