Ice Hockey World Championship cruise

IMT is a Finnish tour operator specializing in group and themed travel, with more than 25 years of experience. We had organized trips to the Ice Hockey World Championship for many years, but when the 2025 tournament came to Stockholm, we wanted to do something completely new. We chartered Tallink Silja Line’s Baltic Princess and transformed it into a dedicated tournament hotel for Finnish ice hockey fans.

The ship was a perfect fit for the concept. Every detail reflected the spirit of the Finnish Lions, from the interiors and entertainment to the overall atmosphere. For the fans, it was a complete tournament experience, not just a trip.

Samas Venees event cruises – from a new concept to a major success

What if an entire cruise were tailored to be exactly the kind you would enjoy yourself? That was the question long-time Turku entrepreneurs Santtu Kiili and Juhani Koskinen asked themselves. Their idea evolved into Samas Venees, an organizer of event cruises.

The first cruise, Suomen Suurimmat Sunnarit, was created for restaurant industry professionals and filled both the departure terminal pre-party and Baltic Princess with a lively crowd of partygoers and top performers.

“We decided to charter the entire ship so we could create the kind of themed cruise we would enjoy ourselves,” says Santtu Kiili.

“Working with Tallink Silja Line went very smoothly. It was wonderful to see how enthusiastically the whole team embraced bringing this new concept to life,” says Juhani Koskinen.

We plan each whole-ship charter individually and our team will send you the list of agreed services with your proposal.

You can decide which food and drinks are included in the charter price and which your guests purchase themselves.
