Keijo Mehtonen, Management Board member of AS Tallink Grupp and the Managing Director of Finnish subsidiary Tallink Silja OY, has decided to retire. The Supervisory Council of AS Tallink Grupp approved his application today.
K.Mehtonen will continue as a member of Board of Directors of Tallink Silja Oy.
Mr. Margus Schults was appointed as the new Managing Director of Tallink Silja Oy. Since 2008 he has worked as advisor to the Management Board of AS Tallink Grupp. Before joining Tallink, Margus Schults worked in Stockholm in Group HR Management of SEB, a leading North-European bank.
Pasi Näkki was appointed as the deputy director of Tallink Silja OY. Pasi Näkki will continue in his current position being responsible for the marketing and sales activities in Finland.
The Supervisory Council elected today Janek Stalmeister (born 1974) as a new member of the Management Board and CFO. Janek Stalmeister has worked in AS Tallink Grupp since 1999, from 2005 in the position of Financial Director. He has graduated Economics in the International University “LEX” in Estonia. From 1994 to 1997 he was the Head of the External Debt Division at the Estonian Ministry of Finance. Janek Stalmeister owns 20400 shares of AS Tallink Grupp.
