Tallink signed agreement with Riga Freeport Authority
Today on 22.02.06 AS Tallink Grupp’s subsidiary company AS Tallink Latvijas signed a cooperation agreement with the Riga Freeport Authority to begin a regular ferry service between Riga and Stockholm.
The regular ferry service will begin in April of this year with the vessel M/S Fantaasia which will sail under the Estonian flag.
AS Tallink Grupp CEO Mr. Enn Pant said: "We are very glad that we have finally signed the agreement. This will be a great opportunity for the company to expand and grow its business and also allows us to play a small role in Latvia’s continuing development in the tourism sector."
