Changes in Management of subsidiary company
AS Tallink Grupp is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Vaino Konga to the Board of the Supervisory Council of Tallink Sverige AB.
Mr. Enn Pant the CEO of Tallink Grupp said of Vaino who joined Tallink Sverige AB in 1999 as the Managing Director: "Vaino through his hard work and relentless dedication has been a key figure for the growth and success of Tallink in Sweden. We will continue to rely on his knowledge and experience as we continue to develop our brand and grow our market share in Sweden. He will play a strategic and crucial role in leading our team as we develop and plan new routes for the Swedish market".
AS Tallink Grupp is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Kadri Land as the new Managing Director of Tallink Sverige AB as of 25.01.06. Ms. Land previously worked at Radio Sweden International as an editor and producer. She has a degree in physics from Tartu University and is married with two children.
Mr. Enn Pant said: "I am extremely pleased that Kadri has agreed to join the company. Sweden is an important market for Tallink Grupp and I believe that with Kadri's international experience combined with her energy and excellent management skills she will be able to grow the company and achieve new levels of success in a highly competitive marketplace. We believe our new young and capable management team led by Kadri Land and her deputy Tapani Kauhanen are able to meet our future objectives of launching a new cruise ferry on the Tallinn-Stockholm route and the possible launching of Stockholm-Riga route this spring.
