According to AS Tallink Grupp 768 627 people travelled with the ships of the company, which is 0.2 percent more than the previous year. The transportation results compared to the year before were influenced by ending of the operations on Finland-Germany route in August 2011.
Tallink transported 51 532 passengers (+8.8%) on Latvia-Sweden route, 69 003 (+6.4%) on Estonia-Sweden route and 370 846 (+3.9%) on Finland-Estonia route in October. On the route between Finland and Sweden, Tallink transported 277 246 passengers (-5.4%).
Tallink transported 84 275 passenger vehicles (+0.1%), the number of cargo units decreased by 3.5 percent to 24 936 in October.
The passenger, vehicle and cargo volumes were influenced by ending the operations on Finland-Germany route in August 2011.
