Tallink`s passengers volumes increased 5.5 percent in September

AS Tallink Grupp transported altogether 639 287 passengers in September, this is 5.5 percent more than last year. The number of passengers and passenger vehicles increased despite of closing the operations on Finland-Germany route.

In September Tallink transported 324 916 passengers (+7.8%) on Estonia-Finland route and 65 274 (+8.8%) on Estonia-Sweden route. On the route between Latvia and Sweden, Tallink transported 56 918 passengers (+24.3%), on the Finland-Sweden route 192 179 passengers (-0.5%).  The result of Finland-Sweden route was influenced by the planned maintenance period of 12 days of M/S Silja Symphony.

Tallink also transported 81 920 passenger vehicles (+0.6%) and the number of cargo units decreased by 1.8 percent to 24 232 in September.
