Tallink`s passenger volumes increased by one percent in May

AS Tallink Grupp transported altogether 702 513 passengers in May, this is 1,1 percent more than last year. The number of transported vehicles and cargo units increased by 7.5 and 18.7 percent respectively.

Tallink transported 59 096 (+8.2%) passengers on Latvia-Sweden route, 77 171 (+6.2%) on Estonia-Sweden route, 358 617 (+4.9%) on Finland-Estonia route and 200 692 (-10%) on Finland-Sweden routes. The result of Finland-Sweden route was influenced by the planned maintenance of the Turku-Stockholm route’s cruise ferry Galaxy, which was not replaced during her one week long repair works. The two ferries of Finland-Germany route transported 6 937 passengers.

Tallink transported 86 060 (+7.5%) passenger vehicles and 26 916 (+18.7%) cargo units in last month.

In third quarter (March-May) Tallink transported altogether
2 098 356 (-2.7%) passengers, 237 564 (+9.1%) passenger vehicles and 76 366 (+10.7%) cargo units.
