Leading passenger shipping company AS Tallink Grupp announced the preliminary, unaudited financial results for the financial year 2009/2010 today about reaching the net profit of 22 million Euros and revenue of 814 million Euros (+3%).
The unaudited interim report for fourth quarter and 12 months of the 2009/2010 financial year will be released on 28th of October 2010.
The gross profit of the company increased by 2 percent to 168 million Euros and EBITDA by 9 percent to 145 million Euros compared to the financial year 2008/2009.
During fourth quarter, the net profit increased by 34 percent to 42 million Euros, the gross profit by 5 percent to 84 million Euros, the revenue by 7 percent to 272 million Euros and EBITDA by 5.5 percent to 77 million Euros.
During the financial year 2009/2010 Tallink transported 8.4 million passengers (+4%) and 258 773 cargo units (+3%).
