AS Tallink Grupp transported altogether 748 836 passengers in March, this is 36 percent more than last year. The number of transported vehicles and cargo units increased by 17 and 19 percent respectively.
The passenger volumes increased on all routes the company is operating. In March Tallink transported 96 114 (+68%) on Estonia-Sweden route, 45 470 (+63%) passengers on Latvia-Sweden route, 291 581 (+34%) on Finland-Sweden route and 315 671 (+30%) on Finland-Estonia route. There was no traffic on Finland-Germany route in March due to the planned maintenance and repair works of the vessels.
Additionally to passenger numbers, also the number of transported vehicles and cargo units increased in the last month. Tallink transported 64 250 passenger vehicles (+17 %) and 24 688 (+19%) cargo units in March.
