Tallink`s passenger volumes increased by 10 percent in October

In October 2009 AS Tallink Grupp transported 711 877 passengers which is 9,7% increase compared to the previous year.

The largest growth was seen on Latvia-Sweden, Finland-Sweden and Finland-Estonia routes. In October Tallink transported 40 400 passengers (+18 %) on Latvia-Sweden route, 299 698 (+12 %) on Finland-Sweden route and 308 552 (+8 %) on Finland-Estonia route.

On the route between Estonia and Sweden, Tallink transported 57 406 passengers (+5 %) and on the Finland-Germany route 5 821 passengers (-3 %).

Additionally to passenger numbers, also the number of transported vehicles increased in the last month. Tallink transported 71 964 passenger vehicles (+15 %), the number of cargo units decreased by 13 percent to 23 297 in October.
