Tallink`s passenger volumes increased by 18 percent in June

AS Tallink Grupp transported altogether 795 569 passengers in June, this is 18 percent more than last year. The number of transported vehicles increased by 27 percent, whereas the number of transported cargo units decreased by 24 percent.

The largest growth was seen on Latvia-Sweden, Estonia-Sweden and Finland-Estonia routes. In June Tallink transported 72 859 passengers (+110 %) on Latvia-Sweden route, 94 561 (+23 %) on Estonia-Sweden route and 310 583 (+17 %) on Finland-Estonia route.

On the route between Finland and Sweden, Tallink transported 305 783 passengers (+10 %) and on the Finland-Germany route 11 783 passengers (-33 %).The results of the Germany-Finland route were influenced by the change, according to which starting from September two vessels continue on the route instead of three.

Additionally to passenger numbers, also the number of transported vehicles increased in the last month. Tallink transported 95 137 passenger vehicles (+27 %), the number of cargo units decreased by 24 percent to 20 304 in June.
