AS Tallink Grupp sponsors the young Estonian tennis player Kaia Kanepi with 1,5 million Estonian kroons and company’s largest shareholder AS Infortar additionally with 400 000 kroons. With this contract the companies are going to be the main sponsors of Kanepi already for the third year.
The chairman of the board of AS Tallink Grupp and the manager of Kaia Kanepi, Mr. Enn Pant said, that the cooperation has been very fruitful. “Today Kaia is on her highest position in the WTA rankings and during this season she has gained more important victories than ever before. We can say without doubt that today she is one of the best sportswomen in Estonia. The success came with her hard work and dedication and the strong support of the whole team. At the same time it is also important to have a stabile and continuous cooperation with sponsors for building a successful career in the world of sports. With this we are going to support Kaia also in the future”, said Pant.
During one year AS Tallink Grupp will sponsor Kaia Kanepi with 1,5 million Estonian kroons, AS Infortar will add 400 000 kroons. The contract was signed today in Tallinn.
At the moment Kaia Kanepi is holding the 28th position in the WTA rankings.

Tallink and Infortar supported Kaia Kanepi with 1,3 and 1,5 million Estonian kroons during the two previous seasons, which have been the largest sponsorship given to an individual sportsman so far in Estonia.
