AS Tallink Grupp transported altogether 562 392 passengers in September, this is 12 percent more than last year. The passenger number as well as market share increased on company’s all major routes.
The largest growth was on Latvia-Sweden route, where the more than 32 percent increase was boosted by the rerouting of the ships. Tallink transported 35 957 passengers on that route in September.
On the route between Finland and Estonia, Tallink transported 239 264 passengers in September, the number of passengers increased by 15 percent.
On the routes between Sweden and Estonia Tallink transported 53 930 passengers (+11, 2%), on the routes between Finland and Sweden 225 769 passengers (+7,9%) and on the route Germany-Finland 7472 passengers (-21,8 %) in September. The results of the Germany-Finland route were influenced by the change, according to which starting from September two vessels continue on the route instead of three.
Tallink transported 57 530 passenger vehicles (+16,8 %) and 26 577 cargo units (-10,5 %) in September.
