AS Tallink Grupp`s and AS Infortar`s new headquarters in Tallinn was set the corner stone on Friday, April the 4th.
AS Tallink Grupp`s CEO Enn Pant said, that the new headquarters will be an impressive visiting card for the companies of the building as well as a motivating working environment for all the employees. „Definitely a large plus is also the location of the building, which is near to city centre and harbour,“ said Pant.
AS Infortar`s CEO Ain Hanschmidt said, that hopefully will the building designed by Meelis Press become a magnificent architectural masterpiece and a cosy and comfortable office for the employees. „We will definitely continue the cooperation with Tallink and will support them also in the future, “added Hanschmidt.
The new office building in Tallinn, completed in spring 2009 will have approximately 5000 square meters of space. The new building is designed according to Tallink`s needs and its layout is much more effective compared to the current office. The latest building standards and materials make it also more energy efficient. The location of the new building is in the Tallinn port area, which is a great benefit to our employees who need to commute between our vessels, port and office several times a day. Tallink's rental- and housing costs per employee will become relatively smaller in the new building.
The office building has been projected by M. Press Architectural Bureau and is built by Merko Ehitus.
AS Tallink Grupp, who will be the largest tenant of the building, has contracted the 10-year rental agreement with OÜ Fastinvest, a subsidiary of AS Infortar
The corner stone ceremony took place on 4th of April at 12. After the official part there will be a pyrotechnical show, through which the future image of the building was shown.
