Finland-Germany route

After the acquisition of three Superfast ferries in spring 2006, Tallink started operating between Finland and Germany. From January 2007 the route was expanded to Estonia. Now, when Estonia has joined the Schengen space, also comfortable direct trips from Germany to Estonia are possible.
Although the main emphasis of the route is on the cargo, we also see increased demand for the passenger transportation. Our vessels complete the voyage between Helsinki and Rostock in less than 24 hours and offer departures almost every day from all three destinations. With the Superfast vessels we can provide our customers the fastest service between Finland and Germany. The acquisition of three Superfast ferries meets Tallink’s strategy whereby we broaden our operations and at the same time insure the company’s strong future development perspective.
