AS Tallink Grupp announced, that the new Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel will be opened from 12th of March. AS Infortar has invested 450 million kroons in the project.
According to the Hotel Manager Ulvi Vallimäe the new hotel will further approve the wide range of tourism services offered by Tallink. „As by the new ships, also by the new hotel much attention is paid on the modern conference services. The success of Tallink City Hotel shows, that there is still demand in the market for accommodation and conference services, this particular hotel has also an additional plus by having a unique spa,” said Vallimäe.
For AS Infortar this was already the third large investment to the hotel business. Infortar has supported AS Tallink Grupp in several projects as Tallink City Hotel or partly financing the Silja Line’s merger. It has given Tallink the possibility to concentrate further in investing to the new ships and marine transport services. Tallink as well as its shareholders have gained much from this cooperation and Infortar has also strengthened the value of its large investment in the concern. Hopefully the two companies have a good cooperation in the hotel business also in the future.
The operator of the hotel is the subsidiary of AS Tallink Grupp OÜ TLG Hotell, which is also operating the Tallink City Hotel opened in 2004. Both of the hotels belong to the Tallink Hotels network. The hotel was built by AS Merko Ehitus.
The architects of the building are Mr. Indrek Tiigi and Mr. Ülar Mark from Urban Mark OÜ, internal architects Mr. Andro Kööp and Mr. Tairo Pärnamets from Torpedo Interior OÜ.
Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel has 275 hotel rooms, from those 240 standard double rooms (6 for allergy sufferers), 9 standard single rooms, 20 Double de Luxe rooms (2 for allergy sufferers), 2 rooms specialized for disabled and 4 Suites. The suites are located on the 5th floor and there are different styles used by the internal design, which also reflects in their names: Arabic, French, Space and Royal Suite.
The modern conference centre is located on second floor, there are altogether six conference halls, the largest of those has seats for over 300 persons. Altogether the conference centre can accommodate up to 500 persons. All halls are equipped with air conditioners, conference equipment and other necessary items. There is also business centre including 3 working places, where all the office equipment is available for customers.
A la carte restaurant „Nero” has 196 seats and its Chef de Cuisine is Andrus Laaniste. Restaurants stage, sound- and lighting equipment enables there to host musicians, show groups and other entertainers. The restaurant has a separate bar. In the hotel, there is also the 40-seat cigar bar „Fidel”.
The spa complex has different kind of saunas, a pool with a bar, salt pool and all year round opened open-air-pool. In the summertime, a terrace is opened next to the open-air-pool. Additionally there are beauty and health services available in the hotel.
The opening party took place on 8th of March.
